About Rise Beyond Height
Rise Beyond Height was founded on a deeply personal journey. Our founder, Warsame, experienced firsthand the challenges of stigma and exclusion as a person with dwarfism. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his commitment to community impact grew through volunteering, leading to the creation of an organization dedicated to empowering others. We are a grassroots organization born from a shared recognition of the barriers faced by persons with dwarfism, especially in underserved communities. Our work is driven by a critical need to address systemic exclusion and build a world where people are valued for their abilities, not judged by their physical differences. We advocate for dignity, expand opportunities, and amplify voices to champion inclusion for those historically left behind.
